We’ll have Open Mic, Boards & Bites on-site (charcuterie boards available for purchase), AND to celebrate our 8th year in business, we’re hosting a customer appreciation day to THANK YOU all for your support. Our dear friend Rickey McKenna has been battling diabetes which has taken a toll on Rick’s body these past four years. In the fall of 2022, Rick was the recipient of a liver transplant from his dear friend, Vaughn Smith. Rick’s recovery has been challenged by many complications including needing a kidney transplant and dialysis three times a week, his liver being rejected, bilateral leg amputations, and multiple infections. Rick has been receiving his care at Lahey Hospital in Burlington, Massachusetts with his wife Dina by his side since February where he continues to be an inpatient. During this time Dina has been away from work on family medical leave. As they navigate the next steps in Rick’s wellness journey, traveling, hotels, meals, and expenses have been adding up.

What can we do? We are having a fundraiser to help offset some of these expenses so that the burden does not land on them. We will be collecting items for a silent auction, weather permitting there will be a cornhole tournament at the benefit for Rick on Friday, June 14th, 5-9 at Chadwick’s Craft Spirits, with all proceeds to assist the McKenna family during this difficult time.

We would love to see as many of Rick's friends and family as possible! Come show your support and love for Rickey. It will be a great evening of friends and family rallying around one of the best!
