Sights around Doom Forest

          Today's post has some of the sights from around Larry's property, where Chadwick's Maple Craft Spirits is made from scratch.  There is a clear chill is in the air for sure.  It's beautiful though.  Thanksgiving is upon us, and Christmas is only weeks away.  Today was mostly clear.  A high temperature of a brisk 56 degrees.  It makes me wonder if perhaps it will snow sooner than January this year.

Having 10-15 chords of wood, all hand-chopped and nicely stacked is a standard occurrence for the Chadwick's, as it is for many residents in Maine.

The Cabin.  Hand-built nearly 40 years ago now.  The rocks for that Chimney were all gathered from the property during the month long construction, and set by hand by Larry himself.
