When the Ice Breaks

      Every winter the top of the pond over.  As the temperature rises during the day, the ice (and water below it) expands, usually causing a deep, echo-like sound.  But on occasion, the ice suddenly cracks open.  This is a brief clip of Larry describing such a scene.
