5:30 in the morning

     The sun is an hour away from breaking over the trees, yet it's remarkably light out.  Even in July, the mornings in Pittston, Maine are cool enough to cause mist to rise from ponds like Larry's.  When the wind blows, it carries an entire wave of white over the fields in the foreground, giving the surreal sense that you have just emerged from the clouds into this beautiful location.
