Frog Serenade

The photo below has a tree frog in it.  Do you see him?

As you might imagine, Maine has a lot of frogs, especially the parts of Maine that have ponds surrounded by a hundred acres of forest.  Out by a pond Larry created (when digging up dirt and clay for the foundation of his house), it's easy to hear numerous species of frogs making their respective sounds.  Spring Peepers, Wood Frogs, Toads, and Tree Frogs.

Out in the forest on Larry's property, there is a pond that was created when Larry dug out dirt and clay for the foundation of his house. It's now a beautiful spot just sit and listen.

As always, note the wonder Larry has for the natural world.  When you can get to a point where you refer to the sounds of nature in musical terms, you know you've made it.
